Company history |
| |
Together with 2 employees, Peter Moog founded the limited partnership company Peter Moog & Cie on the 1st April 1968. The domicile of the company was located in Peter Moog's house, at Vechigenstrassse 28 in Worb, and the production was set up in the garage and the laundry room. |

| |
At first, the young company based itself on carrying out contract work. The earnings compiled from this work were able to be continually invested into the development of products in the area of high pressure technology. |

| |
The successful development of the company with high pressure cleaners made a rapid expansion of the production and office premises on the Vechigenstrasse necessary. An expansion of the property was therefore carried out in the year 1970, and the number of staff increased massively. |
| |
The conversion of the limited partnership into a limited company took place in 1972. Good products, combined with outstanding service, demanded a further expansion of the company, however.

| |
Initially, a company site of 1,900 sqm was purchased on the Neufeldstrasse 11 in Worb. A manufacturing hall for engineering, manufacturing and centralised spare parts store was then built here.
These premises were brought into use in 1977, with the administration and the office premises remaining at Vechigenstrasse 28 |

| |
The separation of the Administration and Production proved to be awkward, however, and an office wing was built onto production hall on the company site in 1980. |

| |
From 1980 onwards, the areas of self service car wash systems, the internal cleaning of containers, barrel cleaners and industrial vacuum cleaners were continually developed further, and were adapted to the needs of the customer. Enquiries from various countries have shown the effectiveness of the continuous efforts to offer products with the highest quality. |
| |
From 1990, large barrel cleaning systems could also be manufactured and sold. |
| |
In December 1998, following the innovative development of a barrel interior cleaning system, the company became the only foreign company to be awarded an „Oscar de Bronze“ at the world's largest trade fair for viticulture and cellar technology, the „Vinitech“ in Bordeaux. Further awards for other developments followed in 2000 and 2002. |
| |
The areas of use for the manufactured products have been extended into many other areas over the complete internal cleaning application area.
Peter Moog & Cie AG currently employs 30 people in Production and Administration. |
